Who we are

AIX Green Operations is the hull efficiency and fleet decarbonization arm of the AIX group. This policy explains how personal data collected through this website is handled, in line with the Brazilian data protection law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018).

What is collected

Only the data submitted by the data subject is collected, plus the minimum needed to measure site usage:

• Data provided in the contact form: name, company, e-mail, phone, vessel or fleet, planned docking and the content of the message.
• Browsing data collected by the analytics tool: pages visited, time on page, traffic source, device and browser type, in aggregate form.
• A record of the page the form was submitted from, to identify the context of the enquiry.

How it is used

Contact data is used solely to respond to the request and manage the commercial relationship. Browsing data is used in aggregate, to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. Data is not sold, rented or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal basis

Processing of contact data relies on the data subject's consent and on preliminary steps towards a contract taken at their request. Processing of browsing data relies on the legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the site, and only occurs once measurement cookies are accepted.

Cookies

This site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, plus audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics). On first access the measurement cookies can be accepted or declined, and the choice is stored in the browser. That choice can be reset by clearing the site data in the browser.

Who it is shared with

Data may pass through service providers that run the site infrastructure, such as hosting and form handling (Netlify) and the audience analytics tool (Google). These providers process the data only to deliver the contracted service.

How long it is kept

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting commercial relationship. Aggregate browsing data follows the retention period configured in the analytics tool.

Data subject rights

At any time the data subject may request confirmation that processing exists, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of the data, portability, and withdrawal of consent. Requests should be sent to commercial@aixmonitoring.com.

Security

Reasonable technical and administrative measures are applied to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. No system is completely immune, but any incident is treated seriously and data subjects are notified where the law requires it.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to the law. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
